Chapter 27: Miserable

They say heartbreak is like a headache
Lingers around, needling heads
Take some pills and no more ache,
They forgot the pain that it bakes
That sleeps you with pain staked
With your promises and dreams said
To them you made.
Awakened you from your bed,
Inhaled your hope to wish it’s not too late,
To wish you’re dead.

They say heartbreak is like flu
It is just for a day or two,
No, no, that’s not true,
You’ll lie in bed for a week or two,
You’ll cry a bucket or two,
You’ll scream a mile or two,
All for everything hoped by you,
You’ll die and keep dying too,
And you’ll fall and fall into
The depth of your wound to
See it through
